Apart from Southern Ontario and the Detroit area, Windsor’s proximity to a number of other major art centers in the American Midwest and Northeast has enabled the School of Visual Arts to organize regular student bus trips to significant contemporary exhibitions throughout the region.

Recent trips have included the Mattress Factory and Carniegie International (Pittsburgh), The Wexner Art Center (Colombus), and the Museum of Contemporary Art, Chicago. Past trips have also included stops in Cincinnati, Cleveland, Toronto and Toledo.
